Boho Eatery a whole foods restaurant focused on conscious and sustainable living offering Nairobi’s best vegan and vegetarian meals in a cosy eclectic hideaway. Approached us to help develop & create their sub-brands. Boho kitchen is a range of food products e.g condiments, spice blends, dips, sauces cordials etc. Having had challenges in the past they asked us to help them develop an identity and packaging that could help sell their top quality product both locally and internationally.
THE
JOURNEY
The product range was carefully curated having identified gaps in the current market. We began by first engaging in consultative sessions with the founder tyring to find the core traits of the brand and its users. Based on our insights we developed various logo iterations and stylescapes for review. With the onset of covid and quarantine, there was an interruption to life and work, but we found a way to continue the process. Our goal was simple, to answer the clients three questions. Do you understand our brand? Do you understand how to target the local and international markets? Can you deliver clear timelines and meet design deliverables?

WHAT WE
DID
Our first task was to come up with a simple logo that captured the client's needs. After which we began to explore the packaging and labelling options. Examining layouts and configurations to capture the desired aesthetic. After multiple iterations, we finally settled on a master layout that would be applied across all the products.
